We consisted of, in chronological order, Perry/Joe/Brian, Perry/Joe/Brian/Matt, Matt/Joe/Andrew/Mike, Matt/Joe/Andrew/Mike/Perry, Matt/Joe/Andrew/Perry/Brendan, and Matt/Joe/Jay/Perry/Brendan (which lasted the longest and accomplished the most). Jon helped out with a couple shows somewhere in the middle, too. We never played a ton of shows, but the ones we did play were consistently fun; there wasn’t a single bad time. We even got to annoy Bam in West Chester. During the years we were most active, we managed to play with pretty much all of our favorite contemporary pop-punk bands. None of the recordings ever reinvented the pop-punk wheel, but we’d like to think we progressed with every release, culminating with this one (it has a banjo buried in the mix. Seriously). The band came to an end in the summer of 2010. We still had these 6 songs left over, though, and, with no hard feelings to speak of, it seemed silly not to record them. If nothing else, at least we could listen to them in the future. We really feel that they were our best work -- the most varied and interesting stuff we came up with. All our separate influences and ideas really coming into a whole. Turns out some other people liked them, too, hence this record. So that’s pretty neat. We were extremely lucky in the friends and like-minded bands we found, and we can’t say thanks enough to everyone who supported us. It was a great several years, and there’s nothing about it we’d change. Thanks for picking this up, and thanks for enjoying what we did. (and about a trillion thanks to Brian and Mike for releasing it!) We were too lazy to get a real download code together, but if you email Joe (joedecarolis@gmail.com) he’ll gladly send you a link.
