The recordings on Call of the Mastodon previously appeared on the band's early EPs 3785 and 3707, with the exception of the song "Call of the Mastodon", which appeared on [r=5589930 and [r=6091250. 
For this compilation, the songs have been remastered, and samples featured on the Slick Leg and Lifesblood EPs have been removed.
