Leaving Songs comes in a middle mounted six-panel Digipak with Lucky Dog Recordings, 03-04 inserted in the right pocket. LDR is presented in a slipjacket featuring the original front and back artwork of the UK release.

Singing and backing tracks for Leaving Songs were recorded at the Beach House, Nashville, TN in April 2005. Overdubs and understanding at Lucky Dog, London, between May & December 2005. Strings recorded at Lucky Dog, 27. Nov 2005. Mixed at Eastcote Studios, London, December 2005. Mastered at Loud.

Lucky Dog Recordings, 03-04 was recorded and mixed at Lucky Dog 2003/2004. Additional recording at the Farm, St. Marie (June 18-21, 2004) and Eastcote Studios, London (August 24, 2004). Mastered at Metropolis, London.

The cover of Lucky Dog Recordings 03-04 lists bbqcd 242 as catalog number, which refers to the original British release. The CD engraving lists BBQ 247CD2. The CD print and cover spine of Leaving Songs lists the catalog nunber as bbqcd 247, the engraving lists BBQ 247CD1.
