Notes:
Insert says [both White Men and High Times are events from 1992: In August 1991, Cypress Hill made their Ruffhouse/Columbia debut with a self-titled release that added a new language of the hip hop aesthetic. Words like "ultra violent gangsta grooves", "Blunted Buddha Bless" and "funky awareness" were used to describe this bold entry. Then came the High Times cover story and their association with NORML (The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws); the tremendous coverage in the SOURCE Magazine; the Gold album; 2 songs in Juice movie and one on the soundtrack; then White Man Can't Rap soundtrack. Cypress Hill carved a unique hip hop musical niche that only they occupy. "Hand On The Pump", "Hand On The Glock" music for the head. Some more Phuncky Cypress Hill shit.
