Saturday 4/22/23 Sidewalk Sale, RSD and More
It's been a few months since our last update on all the happenings around here and the killer vinyl that's been coming in. As most of you know, Saturday April 22nd is record store day and as per usual we will not be stocking any RSD releases. We will have plenty of great LPs and 45s spanning punk, hardcore, heavy metal, rock 'n' roll, jazz, soul and more made available at noon that day. Store Update And Store Hours 2/6-2/13
Well, January is just about over and the action hasn't stopped over here at Sit & Spin HQ. We have been packing the store with tons of great, new and used LPs, 45s, and cassettes across most genres. This includes a new Sit & Spin exclusive on blue vinyl limited to 50 copies from Finland's Lama documenting their recordings 1980-1983. No need to tirelessly track down originals and spend hundreds a piece, your wallet will thank you later! Between Monday 2/6 through Monday 2/13 we will have some adjustments to our hours as follows. Sit & Spin Records is turning 10 and we're having a party to celebrate.
Join us at Brewery ARS (just down the street from Sit & Spin) on Sunday January 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We'll be enjoying fine brews and brutal tunes with Philly's finest hard rock and heavy metal DJ, The Hessian Aggression.
Store Update + Punk and Hardcore Drop Satuday 12/17
This past week has been a record buying whirlwind and we are now fully stocked with great vinyl, whether you're looking for LPs, 45s or cassettes (yeah, yeah, yeah I get it tapes aren't vinyl) we got you covered! On Tuesday we bought over 1,000 LPs, 1,300 tapes and a few hundred 7"s, but it was Wednesday when we scored some really killer punk and hardcore 7"s. We have already put out several hundred tapes this week including some great punk, metal, 90s alternative, jazz and hip hop.
